DRAFT — pending legal review. These terms are a working draft. They will be reviewed by counsel and finalized before FastMacros is submitted to the App Store or Google Play.

Terms of Service

Draft last updated: 10 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and FastMacros (“FastMacros,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the FastMacros mobile app and related services (the “Service”). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What FastMacros is

FastMacros helps you meet daily nutrition targets. It reads your remaining macros from your health data, ranks food and orders from menus near you that fit those macros, helps you plan days and weeks of meals, lets you log food several ways, and hands you off to third-party ordering and grocery services when you choose to order. The Service provides nutrition information and convenience tools only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FastMacros. Certain features that involve a calorie deficit are restricted to users 18 and older, and the app enforces this. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Not medical advice

FastMacros provides nutrition information and is not medical, dietary, or healthcare advice, and it is not a substitute for professional judgment. We are not your doctor, dietitian, or healthcare provider. Nutrition targets, suggestions, the Mac coach's commentary, and optional modes (including GLP-1 and low-sodium modes) are general information to help you hit targets you set — they never provide medical guidance, and they never provide medication or dosing guidance of any kind.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, are managing a medical condition, take medication (including GLP-1 medications), or have a history of disordered eating. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services. You use the Service's information at your own discretion and risk.

4. Allergen data & food safety

Read this if you have a food allergy or intolerance. Menu and nutrition data can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and restaurants can change recipes, ingredients, and preparation at any time. FastMacros cannot guarantee that any food is safe for you.

FastMacros only marks a food as allergen-safe when that determination comes from chain-published or otherwise verified allergen information. All other allergen information is shown as an estimate (labelled “est.”) and is excluded from allergen-safety filtering — it may still appear, but is never treated as safe. Because shared equipment and preparation can introduce allergens even when an ingredient list does not, we show a cross-contact warning on allergy surfaces.

You are responsible for your own food-safety decisions. Always confirm ingredients, allergens, and preparation directly with the restaurant or manufacturer before eating, and rely on the information printed on the actual product or provided by the venue. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FastMacros is not liable for allergic reactions or other harm arising from food you choose to order, prepare, or eat.

5. Ordering & third-party services

FastMacros does not sell, prepare, deliver, or fulfil food. When you order, we hand you off to a third-party service — such as a restaurant's own ordering site, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Instacart, or Kroger — or to your grocery cart. Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms, privacy policies, pricing, fees, and availability. Any transaction you make is between you and that third party, and prices, taxes, and fees shown there govern. Prices, distances, wait times, and availability shown in FastMacros are estimates for convenience and may differ from what you see at checkout with the third-party service.

6. Subscriptions & billing

FastMacros offers optional paid subscriptions — Plus and Pro — that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to their terms.

We may change subscription features or pricing on a going-forward basis; any change to the price of an existing subscription will be handled in accordance with the app store's rules and applicable law.

7. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time (see our Delete your account page).

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

9. Content you submit

You may submit content such as logged foods, photos, notes, and recipes you publish to the community. You keep ownership of your content. You grant FastMacros a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service (for example, to recognize a food from a photo, or to show a recipe you publish to the community). You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the rights to share it. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, and community features include reporting and blocking tools that may automatically hide content that is reported.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service — including the FastMacros name and logo, the Mac coach and artwork, the app software, and its design — is owned by FastMacros and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. Third-party data sources are credited in the app and remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that nutrition, allergen, price, or location information will be accurate, complete, or current. Estimated values are estimates, and you should verify anything important directly with the source.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FastMacros and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any harm arising from food you order, prepare, or eat, or from reliance on nutrition or allergen information. To the extent a limitation is not permitted, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or twenty U.S. dollars (USD $20). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FastMacros from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Governing law & disputes

Placeholder — to be completed by counsel. The governing-law jurisdiction, venue, any binding-arbitration and class-action-waiver provisions, and any consumer carve-outs will be finalized with legal counsel before launch and inserted here.

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction to be specified above, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties intend to include a dispute-resolution provision (which may require individual arbitration and waive class actions, subject to applicable law and any consumer protections) — the specific terms of that provision will be set by counsel before launch. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including allergen and food-safety terms, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

16. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms as the product evolves or the law changes. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
